Baku and Tbilisi were declared sister cities. The document was signed in Azerbaijan’s capital.
The mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, and the head of the Baku City Executive Power, Eldar Azizov, signed the document. The event took place within the framework of Kaladze’s official visit to Baku.
In his speech, Kaladze emphasized that the Azerbaijani and Georgian people have historically friendly relations, and he noted that his country places special importance on its relations with Azerbaijan.
